History

This bucolic venue is steeped in history. With a farmhouse dating back to the 1840s, the site has had several owners in its time. By 1906, the property came into the ownership of the Fears siblings until 1964. This venue has always been a welcoming place, as the outbuilding (now known as a guest house) was used as an old-fashioned general store.

As shown in the Morgan County deed book, Serenata Farm was already a famed destination by the dawn of the 20th century. As times changed, a run of owners attempted to revamp this property. Serious work began on the manor in 2009, transforming it into the marital hotspot couples know and love today.
